Rent the Runway Fiscal Q4 Loss Narrows, Revenue Rises; Shares Soar After Hours

05:37 PM EDT, 04/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Rent the Runway ( RENT ) reported a fiscal Q4 loss late Wednesday of $7.02 per diluted share, compared with the loss of $8.07 a year earlier.

Four analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected a loss of $5.90.

Revenue for the quarter ended Jan. 31 rose to $75.8 million from $75.4 million a year earlier.

Four analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $74.4 million.

The company said it expects fiscal Q1 revenue of $73 million to $75 million. Three analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $76.1 million.

Rent the Runway ( RENT ) expects fiscal 2024 revenue growth of 1% to 6% versus a year earlier. Four analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $312.5 million.

Shares of the company surged 57% in after-hours trading.
