Rentokil Initial Expects Slower North America Revenue Growth; Shares Tumble Pre-Bell
Sep 11, 2024 5:42 AM

08:11 AM EDT, 09/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Rentokil Initial ( RTO ) said in a regulatory filing Wednesday it now expects North American organic revenue growth of about 1% in H2.

In July, the company said it expected organic revenue growth in its North American business to be at the lower end of a 2% to 4% range for the full year.

Rentokil said its operating profit for North America has been affected by higher costs for sales, service and other items.

"While we saw some positive momentum in North America sales activity at the end of the second quarter, the trading performance in July and August was lower than anticipated," company said in a 6-K filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Rentokil shares were down by more than 19% in recent premarket activity.
