09:15 AM EST, 11/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Republic Airways (RJET) said Tuesday that it has completed the merger between Republic Airways and Mesa Air Group ( RJET ) .

Under the merger terms, Republic ( RJET ) stockholders now own 88% of the combined company, while Mesa (NASDAQ-NMS:MESA) stockholders will own between 6% to 12% of the combined company, the company said.

Additionally, Republic ( RJET ) and Mesa (NASDAQ-NMS:MESA) will maintain parallel operations while the combined company works to consolidate the two airlines to operate as a single carrier, Republic ( RJET ) said.

Republic Airways will continue to support American Airlines ( AAL ) , Delta Air Lines ( DAL ) , and United Airlines (UAL) under its existing capacity purchase agreements or CPA, while Mesa Airlines will support United Airlines under a new 10-year CPA signed in connection with the merger, Republic ( RJET ) said.

Republic ( RJET ) further said that the combined company will trade under the ticker "RJET" on the Nasdaq Global Select Market as of the same day.
