04:55 PM EDT, 07/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Republic Services ( RSG ) reported Q2 adjusted earnings late Wednesday of $1.61 per diluted share, up from $1.41 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.53.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $4.05 billion, up from $3.73 billion a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $4.03 billion.
The environmental services company is now projecting full-year 2024 adjusted EPS of $6.15 to $6.20 on revenue of $16.08 billion to $16.13 billion. It previously forecast adjusted EPS of $5.94 to $6 on revenue of $16.1 billion to $16.2 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ are looking for $6.06 and $16.15 billion, respectively.
Republic Services ( RSG ) also said its board raised the quarterly dividend by over 8% to $0.58 per share, payable Oct. 15 to shareholders of record on Oct. 2.
