10:29 AM EDT, 07/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Republic Services ( RSG ) subsidiary in Denver and the city government of Louisville, Colorado, said Wednesday they partnered to replace the municipality's residential recycling and waste collection fleet with electric trucks by the end of 2024.

Financial details weren't disclosed. Republic Services ( RSG ) of Denver said the Louisville fleet will include four McNeilus Volterra electric recycling and waste trucks.

Republic Services ( RSG ) said it expects to operate more than 50 EVs across the US by the end of the year.
