02:25 PM EST, 02/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
We sharply lift our price target to $231 from $100, matching the price per share that TXN has proposed to pay SLAB shareholders based on its February 3 announcement that it intends to acquire the company. This implies an 89x P/E on our 2026 EPS view of $2.60, well above the company's five-year average (about 67x), with TXN paying about a 51% premium to SLAB's closing price on February 3. Following SLAB's Q4 earnings release, we raise our 2026 EPS view by $0.09 to $2.60 and initiate a 2027 view at $4.02. We do not see any major competitive or geopolitical issues that would lead to issues with deal closure, and we expect share pricing to steadily move toward the proposed deal price over the next 12 months. The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2027.
