Resources Connection Reports Fiscal Q1 Breakeven on Adjusted Basis, Lower Revenue; Launches New Brand Identities for Business Segments

05:01 PM EDT, 10/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Resources Connection ( RGP ) reported fiscal Q1 breakeven late Tuesday, compared to adjusted earnings of $0.20 per diluted share a year earlier.

Three analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.04.

Revenue for the quarter ended Aug. 24 was $136.9 million, down from $170.2 million a year earlier. Four analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $137.9 million.

Separately, the company said it gave new brand identities for its business segments including On-Demand by RGP for on-demand talent, Veracity by RGP for next-gen consulting, and Countsy by RGP for outsourced services.

RGP shares fell 5% in after-hours activity.
