Revenue better than pre-COVID levels; expect improvement in margin, says NBCC’s Pawan Kumar Gupta
Mar 10, 2021 7:38 AM

Pawan Kumar Gupta, CMD of NBCC India, in an interview with CNBC-TV18, said the company's revenue flow is currently better than pre-COVID levels.

Gupta also said that only 10 percent of the work is affected by COVID at present.

He said, “All the orders have been finalised and projects have started full swing. We are close to 85-90 percent of the pre-Corona capacity; only about 10 percent of work is affected due to Corona. Therefore, this quarter would be better than the last quarter.”

We expect further improvement in margin, said Gupta.

“Our Amrapali project is in full swing, all our major projects are going on - All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)-Deoghar, AIIMS-Bilaspur, Indian Institute of Management (IIM Ranchi), IIM Sambalpur and IIM Visakhapatnam. IIM Ranchi is in final stage. Sambalpur and Visakhapatnam projects have started. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi and IIT Bhubaneswar works are going on. So, all these projects will lead us to a better revenue in this quarter,” he said.
