Richardson to Develop Pitch Energy Modules For Suzlon Energy's Wind Turbines

12:50 PM EDT, 04/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Richardson Electronics ( RELL ) said Tuesday it will develop pitch energy modules for Suzlon Energy's global fleet of turbines as part of their strategic partnership.

Richardson said its pitch energy modules are drop-in replacements for batteries in pitch systems ranging from 150V to 500V DC and can be installed with no modifications to the battery box.

Suzlon, India's renewable energy solutions provider, has over 12,000 wind turbines worldwide with over 9,000 in India.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
