Riot Platforms Bitcoin Production Falls in May

10:17 AM EDT, 06/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Riot Platforms ( RIOT ) said Tuesday it produced 215 bitcoins in May, down from 375 in the previous month and 676 a year earlier.

Average daily bitcoin output fell to 6.9 last month from 12.5 in April and 21.8 a year earlier.

The company said it expects its Corsicana facility to total 400 megawatts of developed mining capacity upon completion of an initial phase. The facility is expected to total 1 gigawatt in developed mining capacity once fully developed, Riot said.
