07:30 AM EST, 01/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Rivalry (RVLY.V), a sportsbook and iGaming operator, over the weekend said it added U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's official Solana cryptocurrency - $TRUMP - as an accepted payment method.

The company said Rivalry users will be able to deposit and wager using $TRUMP, which currently has a fully diluted value of over US$30 billion.

"Meme coins are attention monetized, and the release of $TRUMP just days before an Inauguration is a quintessential internet and crypto culture-driven moment which enabled it to eclipse $30 billion in fully diluted value shortly after its debut" said Rivalry Chief Executive Steven Salz. The company said it will continue to add additional cryptocurrencies as needed to support its player base and continual expansion into the crypto gambling segment.

Shares of the company closed up $0.010, or 5%, at $0.20 on Friday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
