04:14 AM EDT, 04/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Rivian Automotive ( RIVN ) and MEVCO said Monday they are partnering to provide electrical vehicles to the mining and mining services industries.

Financial terms of the collaboration were not disclosed.

MEVCO supplies electric vehicles to the mining industry. Rivian produces the R1T off-road electric pick-up truck. The two companies said they would integrate Rivian's technology into customized MEVCO mining-specific vehicles to operate both on the surface and underground.
