DUBAI, Oct 30 (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia's newest airline
Riyadh Air will start formal talks with planemakers Airbus
and Boeing ( BA ) within two months about an order for
A350-1000 or 777X jets, the carrier's CEO, Tony Douglas, told
Reuters on Wednesday.
"We're probably going to go to the market quite soon to run
a competition for an extra wide-body aircraft. So this story is
nowhere near over yet," Douglas said, pointing to an order of 60
Airbus jets earlier on Wednesday.
Douglas declined to comment on the size of the potential
wide-body jet deal.
