08:22 AM EDT, 06/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Roadzen ( RDZN ) said Tuesday that it has been awarded a $5.3 million contract for its drivebuddyAI software platform to equip up to 3,600 public transportation electric buses and trucks for an unnamed Indian electric commercial vehicle lessor and fleet operator.
The company said the initial deployment will cover 1,300 vehicles, and expects that number to rise to 3,600 during 2026. The drivebuddyAI platform combines advanced driver assistance systems, driver monitoring, video telematics, and predictive risk intelligence into one AI platform, according to Roadzen ( RDZN ).
"DrivebuddyAI remains the only platform certified under India's AIS-184 standard, and it now also meets the requirements of the EU's General Safety Regulation 2019/2144 and Euro NCAP safety protocols," Roadzen ( RDZN ) Chief Executive Rohan Malhotra said in a statement. "With several growth catalysts ahead of us - across India, Europe, and beyond - we expect the business to scale meaningfully in the years to come."
Shares of Roadzen ( RDZN ) were up 3.1% pre-bell.
