Robex Closes US$130 Million Syndicated Facility Agreement With Sprott

04:34 PM EDT, 03/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Robex Resources ( RSRBF ) on Monday after trade said it has closed a US$130 million syndicated facility agreement with Sprott Resource Lending to finance the construction of the Kiniero Gold Project in Guinea.

Last week, the parties to the facility agreement agreed to amend certain terms, including an increase in additional interest ounces from 4,457 oz to 4,667 oz of gold per quarter for 15 quarters. The initial conditions have now been satisfied and US$25 million has been drawn down, the company said.

Robex has also issued 773,811 fully paid shares priced at $2.43 per share to Sprott as additional compensation. The bonus shares represent 1% of the US$130 million commitment under the debt facility.

The company's shares closed down $0.02 to $2.75 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
