01:33 PM EST, 11/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Robinhood Markets' ( HOOD ) request to enjoin enforcement of state gambling laws in Massachusetts was denied Thursday in federal court.

Robinhood alleged that the Commodity Exchange Act preempts the state's gambling laws. It sought the preliminary injunction to bar the state from enforcing gaming laws against its sports-event related contracts.

Robinhood did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
