08:46 AM EDT, 10/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Roblox ( RBLX ) reported a Q3 net loss Thursday of $0.37 per diluted share, narrower than its loss of $0.45 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a loss of $0.38.
Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $919 million, up from $713.2 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.02 billion.
For Q4, the company said it expects revenue in the range of $935 million to $960 million. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $1.33 billion.
For the full-year 2024, Roblox ( RBLX ) said it now expects revenue to be between $3.55 billion and $3.57 billion, up from its prior range of $3.49 billion to $3.54 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $4.22 billion.
Shares of the company rose nearly 18% in recent Thursday premarket activity.
