09:15 AM EDT, 08/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Rocket Lab ( RKLB ) said Thursday the US antitrust waiting period for its pending acquisition of Iridium Communications ( IRDM ) expired on Wednesday.

Rocket Lab ( RKLB ) also said it filed a registration statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission and applications to the Federal Communications Commission to transfer Iridium's licenses.

To reduce its $3.6 billion bridge loan commitments, the company will seek amendments to retain Iridium's existing $1.78 billion term loan following the acquisition, Rocket Lab ( RKLB ) said.

Shares of the company were down 2.7% in Thursday premarket activity.
