04:25 AM EDT, 03/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Rocket Lab USA ( RKLB ) announced late Monday the launch of a rocket that deployed five satellites to low earth orbit for Kineis, a French internet-of-things operator.

The Electron rocket's mission was the fifth in a deal comprising five launches that has seen Rocket Lab deploy a constellation of 25 IoT satellites in less than a year.

"The Kineis constellation is designed to make it possible to connect and locate any connected object anywhere in the world, enabling data transmission to users in near-real time, at low bit rates and with very low energy consumption," the company said.
