02:12 PM EDT, 05/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Rocket (RKT) said Monday it appointed Shawn Malhotra as its first-ever chief technology officer, starting immediately.

In his new role, Malhotra will oversee development and implementation of Rocket's artificial intelligence, data science, information security, product engineering and other technology operations.

Malhotra most recently was head of engineering and product development at Thomson Reuters (TRI) and has also worked at Intel (INTC) and Qualcomm (QCOM).
