Rockpoint Gas Storage Launches C$418 Million - C$484 Million IPO of Class A Shares
Sep 29, 2025 4:16 AM

06:55 AM EDT, 09/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Rockpoint Gas Storage (RGSI.TO), the largest independent pure play operator of natural gas storage facilities in North America, overnight Friday launched its previously announced initial public offering of class "A" common shares.

The company also announced the start of its roadshow following the filing of an amended and restated preliminary base "PREP" prospectus with the securities regulatory authorities in each of the provinces and territories in Canada. It expects the offering to consist of 22-million class A shares to be issued from treasury at an offering price between C$19 and $22 per class A share for proceeds between $418 million and $484 million.

It added that certain selling shareholders will grant the underwriters an option to buy up to an additional 3.3-million class A shares until 30 days after the closing date of the offering, to cover over-allotments, if any, and for market stabilization needs.

Rockpoint has applied to have the class A shares listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the trading symbol "RGSI".
