12:17 PM EDT, 06/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Rocky Shore Gold ( CNOBF ) Tuesday said it launched the summer exploration program at its Gold Anchor Project in central Newfoundland, focusing on the gold-bearing Appleton Fault.

According to a company statement, work will focus on the 6,000-meter long Lane Pond Gold Target on the Appleton Fault, a gold-bearing fault zone trending for greater than 150 kilometers in central Newfoundland.

"The program will include detailed till sampling, prospecting, geological and geophysical work at its Lane Pond Gold Target and other high-priority gold targets in the vicinity," chief executive Ken Lapierre said. "The fault hosts gold resources and high-grade drill intersections on trend to the northeast of our property. Our plan is to be drill-ready this fall to test the Lane Pond Gold Target with an inaugural drill program."

Rocky Shore shares were last seen up $0.005 to $0.045 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
