07:05 AM EST, 01/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Rogers Communications (RCI-A.TO, RCI-B.TO) on Thursday said it launched a national program called "Screen Break" to help Canadian families address excessive screen use in youth.
The company said it is investing $50 million over five years into parental tools, youth programming, research, partnerships, education and advocacy.
"Connectivity brings us together and it connects us to the world around us, but excessive screen time is a real concern for our customers," said Rogers chief executive Tony Staffieri. "Our customers want help managing screen time and Screen Break is our commitment to help young people build a healthier, balanced relationship with their screens."
