07:45 AM EDT, 07/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Rogers Communications ( RCIAF ) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Wednesday of 1.16 Canadian dollars ($0.84) per diluted share, up from CA$1.02 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected CA$1.14.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was CA$5.09 billion, up from CA$5.05 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected CA$5.11 billion.
The company also said it has maintained a quarterly dividend of CA$0.50 per share on its Class B non-voting and Class A voting shares, payable Oct. 3 to shareholders of record on Sept. 9.
The company's shares were up 2.7% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
