Rogers Communications to Sell Data Centers to InfraRed Capital Partners
Aug 14, 2025 6:37 AM

09:17 AM EDT, 08/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Rogers Communications ( RCIAF ) said Thursday it has signed a definitive agreement to sell its portfolio of nine data centers to Sun Life's InfraRed Capital Partners for an undisclosed fee.

Rogers said that even after the sale, it will continue to sell data centre services on behalf of InfraRed and will provide network connectivity to the data centres.

Rogers said it plans to use net proceeds from the sale, expected to close by the end of 2025, to repay debt.

The company added that the sale does not include its corporate data centres, which are used for network and IT purposes.
