01:47 PM EDT, 07/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Rogers Communications ( RCIAF ) said Wednesday it has completed the purchase of BCE's 37.5% stake in Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment for 4.7 billion Canadian dollars ($3.46 billion).

The deal makes Rogers the largest shareholder in MLSE with a 75% interest, the company said.

Shares of the company were up over 3% in recent trading.
