02:49 PM EDT, 07/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Rokmaster Resources ( RKMSF ) was edging lower on Tuesday after providing an update for ongoing fieldwork on the 27,178 hectare Nechako project, in a region that, it says, "remains an underexplored portion of the productive Stikine terrane which hosts many past producing deposits and advanced development projects".
According to a statement, the fieldwork, which commenced in May 2025, has already achieved several milestones including: ongoing prospecting and mapping of the Fox-Coconut and Mystery properties; the initial prospecting and soil sampling on the Hanson property; and completion of the airborne magnetic surveys over the Fox-Coconut and Mystery properties. Also, porphyry copper systems expert Alan J. Wilson has conducted a field visit to confirm confirmed "highly encouraging" potassic alteration related to chalcopyrite and molybdenite mineralization at the Rokmaster's Mystery and Hanson Properties.
For August 2025, coming fieldwork plans include: ongoing permitting work at the Hanson and Mystery properties, following by trenching and sampling of the NW structure on the Coconut property, and a large phase prospecting, mapping, and channel sampling on the Mystery property.
John Mirko, President and CEO, said: "The field crews are off to a great start on the Nechako Project. After the first dedicated field work program on the Hanson Property we are very encouraged by what was observed in the field and are looking forward to the geochemical results. Work is ongoing on the Fox-Coconut and Mystery Properties where multiple datasets will be added to and combined together to develop robust targets for high-grade gold - silver mineralization and significant porphyry Cu-(Au-Mo) mineralization."
Shares have retreated some 9% during Tuesday's trading session, a reversal after demonstrating strength and gaining 25% and 65% over the last month and year, respectively.
