Roland Mineral Enterprises Seeking Property Acquisitions in Venezuela
Mar 27, 2026 4:42 AM

07:26 AM EDT, 03/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Roland Mineral Enterprises ( ULUCF ) said Friday that it has commenced a program to seek out and acquire interests in Venezuelan mineral properties, focusing on gold, silver and copper.

Roland said it has entered into an agreement providing the company with access to material information developed by Placer Dome during its exploration and development of the Las Cristinas gold deposit.

Recent developments in Venezuela, including the removal of former leader Nicolas Maduro and a new draft mining law, make the country's mineral resources attractive for Roland, the company said.

"We believe Venezuela's very recent opening to mining and investment, coupled with our immediate access to a wealth of data and people, make Roland's Venezuelan mineral rights acquisition program especially well-timed and favorable," said Frank Garofalo, Roland's vice-president of business development.
