Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.39.
Sales for the quarter ended Nov. 2 were $5.07 billion, up from $4.92 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $5.15 billion.
For fiscal Q4, the company expects EPS of $1.57 to $1.64 on comparable store sales growth of 2% to 3%. It previously expected $1.60 to $1.67 on comparable sales growth of 2% to 3%. Analysts expect $1.67.
For the fiscal year 2025, the off-price retailer said it now expects EPS in the range of $6.10 to $6.17, up from its prior estimate of $6.00 to $6.13. Analysts are looking for $6.14.
