10:03 AM EDT, 06/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Royal Philips (PHG) said Tuesday it has introduced an AI-powered cardiovascular ultrasound platform to speed up analysis and reduce the workload in echocardiography labs.

Philips' new AI applications, which have been cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration, integrated into the company's EPIQ CVx and Affiniti CVx systems, enhance cardiovascular imaging by automating measurements and speeding workflows, improving imaging quality and efficiency, the company said.
