05:58 PM EDT, 03/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- RTX (RTX) has received contract modifications worth nearly a billion dollars, increasing the ceiling value and duration of the projects, the US Department of Defense said Thursday.

Its unit, Raytheon, received a $773.5 million contract modification for ongoing radar development, with the performance period extended from 2027 to 2030, the agency said.

A separate $193.2 million modification was awarded for spares replenishment and continued Army Navy Transportable Radar Surveillance Control Model-2 development support, also through 2030, the agency added.
