10:39 AM EST, 01/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BAE Systems said Wednesday that Data Link Solutions, its joint venture with Collins Aerospace, an RTX (RTX) business, was awarded a $248 million US Navy production contract to supply hundreds of Multifunctional Information Distribution System Joint Tactical Radio System terminals for US forces and allies.

The software-defined radios provide jam-resistant Link 16 connectivity for secure voice, video and data communications across air, sea and ground platforms.

The terminals will support more than 45 US and international platform types, including unmanned aerial vehicles and armored command-and-control ground vehicles.
