11:05 AM EDT, 06/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- RTX (RTX) said Wednesday its small-satellite maker Blue Canyon Technologies has been selected to develop two 12U CubeSat buses for NASA's "PolSIR" mission to study ice clouds in high-altitude tropical and sub-tropical regions.

Financial details weren't disclosed.

Blue Canyon will also design, manufacture, and provide mission operations services for the bus platforms, RTX said.
