09:37 AM EDT, 03/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- RTX (RTX) unit Collins Aerospace said Tuesday it has secured approval to begin full-rate manufacturing of its MAPS GEN II navigation system for US military vehicles.

The company said the system, designed to resist jamming and spoofing, will be installed on combat ground vehicles and watercraft used by the US Army and Marine Corps.

Collins will manufacture "thousands" of units under the fifth delivery order, the company said.
