08:24 AM EDT, 07/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- RTX's (RTX) Pratt & Whitney unit won a nearly $1.3 billion undefinitized contract for F135 engine spare parts supporting US and international operators of the F-35 Lightning II fighter aircraft, the company said Friday.
The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract will fund fiscal 2026 initial spare-parts requirements, deployable spare packages, depot lay-ins, and associated support equipment, the company said.
Pratt & Whitney said the contract will strengthen its global sustainment network for the F-35 fleet powered by the F135 engine.
