10:19 AM EDT, 07/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- RTX (RTX) said Monday its Raytheon unit will mentor Anacapa Micro Products and Nara Logics to support the development of operational artificial intelligence for the US Department of Defense platforms and programs.

The collaboration is part of the Department of Defense's Mentor-Protege program, Raytheon said.

Raytheon will provide mentorship for operational AI on system design, software architecture, systems integration, IT security constraints and authority-to-operate requirements under two individual three-year contracts, the company said.
