09:14 AM EDT, 09/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- RTX's (RTX) unit Collins Aerospace, which was the target of a cyberattack, said Wednesday it was aware that the UK's National Crime Agency has arrested a man in connection to the breach.
"We understand the United Kingdom National Crime Agency has made an arrest and appreciate their ongoing assistance in this matter," RTX said in an emailed statement.
The law enforcement agency did not identify the man arrested on suspicion of violating the Computer Misuse Act, but said he is in his 40s and that he has been released on conditional bail, according to an NCA statement.
The cyberattack was reported Friday and affected flights at Heathrow and other European airports, the NCA said.
