09:30 AM EDT, 05/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- RTX's (RTX) Collins Aerospace business said Tuesday that it has invested $200 million to expand production at the carbon brake manufacturing site in Spokane, Washington over multiple years.

Collins said the unit plans to add an additional 70,000 square feet of production space at the site, including up to three new buildings and additional furnaces.

The site manufactures braking systems with Duracarb carbon disk technology, the company said.
