11:35 AM EST, 11/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- RTX's (RTX) Pratt & Whitney Canada has delivered the first PW127XT-S development engines designed for Deutsche Aircraft's D328eco regional turboprop, the companies said Monday.
The engines will power the first test aircraft, TAC1, with entry into service targeted in 2027, according to the companies.
With the combination of advanced engine and aircraft design, the D328eco is expected to reduce per-seat fuel consumption by up to 14% compared with the original Dornier 328, while increasing passenger capacity by 25%, the companies said.
