07:10 AM EDT, 09/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- RTX (RTX) said Thursday that its Pratt & Whitney business and PBS Group have agreed to develop a next-generation auxiliary power unit for commercial and military applications in the Czech Republic.

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.

RTX said the companies will collaborate on an advanced APU that would be smaller and lighter than the traditional APU in the same power class and capable of operating at high altitudes, enabling additional capabilities including electronic warfare technologies.
