12:15 PM EST, 02/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- RTX's (RTX) Pratt & Whitney division said its GTF Advantage engine achieved US Federal Aviation Administration type certification for the Airbus A320neo series.

The Advantage is the latest engine from the GTF series to be certified, the company said Thursday in a statement.

The first production engine deliveries are expected later this year, the company said.
