09:44 AM EDT, 07/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- RTX (RTX) unit Raytheon demonstrated a simulated missile engagement using the US Army's Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor and Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System to launch Standard Missile-6 of the US Navy, RTX said Thursday.

The experiment, combining hardware and simulation, detected, tracked, and intercepted a simulated threat, the company said.
