09:57 AM EST, 12/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- RTX's (RTX) Raytheon unit and privately held aerospace company Ursa Major said Wednesday they have successfully completed a missile flight test of a long-range solid rocket motor for the US Army.

The companies said the next phase of the program will involve incorporating manufacturing improvements prior to additional flight tests in 2025 and qualification in 2026.
