Rubrik Narrows Fiscal Q3 Loss as Revenue Rises, Issues Guidance -- Shares Surge After Hours

04:34 PM EST, 12/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Rubrik ( RBRK ) was surging over 15% in extended trading Thursday after reporting a fiscal Q3 non-GAAP net loss of $0.21 per diluted share, narrower than $1.39 loss a year ago.

Analysts polled by FactSet, on average, expected a $0.40 loss.

Total revenue for the quarter that ended Oct. 31 was $236.2 million compared with $165.6 million a year earlier.

Analysts expected $217.5 million.

For fiscal Q4, the firm is projecting a non-GAAP loss of $0.41 to $0.37 on revenue of $231.5 million to $233.5 million. Analysts are expecting a $0.41 loss and $224.5 million, respectively.

For full year, the firm is projecting a non-GAAP loss of $1.86 to $1.82 on revenue of $860 million to $862 million. Analysts are expecting a $2.09 loss and $834.1 million, respectively.
