09:00 AM EDT, 05/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Rupert Resources Ltd. ( RUPRF ) on Thursday highlighted assay results from project drilling at Ikkari. It said the drilling, principally for metallurgical sampling, produced "some of the best intercepts achieved to date".

Among the highlights, the company said #124043 intersected 120 meters at 6.2 g/t of gold from 45 meters downhole, the third-best intercept achieved to date at Ikkari with 748 gram x meters.

Additional intercepts of 22 meters at 2.9 g/t of gold from 16 meters downhole, 5 meters at 4.5 g/t of gold and 56 meters at 3.5 g/t of gold combine to make this the second highest yielding drillhole of all time at Ikkari with 1,028 gram x meters.

Also, #124041 intersected 28 meters at 9.7 g/t of gold from 101 meters and 13 meters at 34.5 g/t of gold from 161 meters, including 1 meter at 294 g/t of gold.

Meanwhile, #124040 intersected 121.2 meters at 2.5 g/t of gold from 52 meters downhole and #124047 intersected 167.8 meters at 2.6 g/t of gold from 17.2 meters, the company said.
