MOSCOW, July 30 (Reuters) - Russia's defence ministry

said on Tuesday that its forces had taken control of the

settlement of Pivdenne in the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine.

The ministry in its statement called the settlement by the

name Russia uses to describe it - Leninskoe.
