May 23 (Reuters) - Germany's largest electricity

producer RWE on Thursday announced it signed two

15-year Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Microsoft ( MSFT )

.

Under the agreements, Microsoft ( MSFT ) will purchase clean

electricity from two new RWE onshore wind farms in Texas, the

construction of which is currently underway and will have a

combined capacity of 446 megawatts (MW).

The wind farms are expected to generate between 250-300 jobs

each during construction and 20 full-time jobs once operational,

the company said.
