08:44 AM EDT, 06/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Rayonier Advanced Materials Inc ( RYAM ) said Monday it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Verso Energy to explore building a new facility in Jesup, Georgia.

Financial details weren't disclosed.

The facility would work on carbon dioxide capture and storage, production of renewable hydrogen, and production of electro Sustainable Aviation Fuel using biogenic carbon dioxide and green hydrogen.

This MoU builds on an initial agreement signed in December 2024.
