09:22 AM EDT, 09/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ryan Specialty Holdings ( RYAN ) said Monday it has closed the buyout of the property and casualty managing general underwriters of Ethos Specialty Insurance from Ascot Group.

Ethos P&C will become a part of the Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers segment, the company said.

The deal excludes Ethos' Transactional Liability MGU, which will remain with Ascot, Ryan Specialty ( RYAN ) added.
