LONDON, Jan 29 (Reuters) - Ryanair is confident
that Boeing ( BA ) will ramp up its production of 737 MAX jets
to 38 per month this summer and that it will be allowed by the
administration of U.S. President Donald Trump to then increase
that to 42, its CEO said on Wednesday.
Michael O'Leary, whose airline is one of the largest
customers of the 737 MAX, was speaking in London following
meetings with Boeing ( BA ) management in Seattle in recent weeks and
ahead of a visit by Boeing ( BA ) CEO Kelly Ortberg to Ryanair Dublin
in February.
